Perifold Systems OÜ ("Provider"), a company registered in Estonia (registry code 14387706, address Värsi tn 14a, 10919 Tallinn, Estonia), operates a law firm management application that is made available to clients as Software as a Service via single-tenant or multi-tenant deployments in various configurations ("Service"). This software is described in more detail at www.perifold.com. This policy describes how the Provider processes personal data in connection with the Service.
Any capitalised term used but not defined herein shall have the meaning stipulated for it in the Service's Terms of Service.

1.1 Requesting a demo of the Service via the form available at www.perifold.com requires the person to provide their name.
1.2 Creating a new User Account for the Service requires the Client to provide the name of the person that will use it.
1.3 To provide user support for Clients and communicate notices regarding the status of and potential updates to the Service, the Provider may request contact data from Clients that can include personal data (name, email address, telephone number of a technical contact person).
1.4 The Provider may also process personal data as a result of Clients making entries in the Service that includes personal data. Primarily this may happen if a Client makes timesheet entries with descriptions that contain data on identifiable natural persons.
The Provider processes personal data for the purpose of providing the Service to Clients or to execute activities necessary to prepare for such provision. Such processing is based on the Provider's legitimate interest to provide the Service. It is also necessary for the performance of the Provider's contractual obligations arising from the Service's Terms of Service.
3.1 The Provider uses cloud infrastructure to provide the Service (mostly Amazon Web Services).
3.2 Unless otherwise agreed with a Client, the Provider shall provide the Service using servers located within the EU.
The Provider processes personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose stipulated in Section 2 above.
Data subjects have the right to:
5.1 request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject;
5.2 object to processing of personal data;
5.3 data portability;
5.4 withdraw data processing consent at any time;
5.5 lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, firstname.lastname@example.org).
